Terry has been showing since he could walk having grown up at Cheshmere Stud breeding Welsh Ponies & Cobs. From an early age Terry spent many years producing and working with other people and all breeds and types, from Show Hacks to Hunters, Coloureds & Mountain & Moorland.
In 2008 Terry moved back to Lancashire to start up on his own with TC Showing. Many M&M ponies seemed to follow but Terry has always kept his hand in with other types and likes to focus on the horses & ponies' way of going and helping to get their riders at one with them.
Terry has had much success over the years. He has been Reserve Champion at The Horse of The Year Show in the M&M section & In Hand Champion twice at the Royal Welsh with Harrowclough Evie & also Reserve Champion. He has had many wins there, including Champion under saddle in various sections 5 times. There's been many successful ponies qualify for HOYS, RIHS & Olympia (now the London International Horse Show) He competes in a variety of classes throughout the show season with L/R, Coloureds & WHP. Terry is a keen hunter & goes out twice a week. He can be seen hedge hopping with the Cheshire Hunt
Terry’s clinics are fun, friendly and for EVERYONE no matter what level you ride at or type of horse/pony you have. If you're new to showing there will be lots of advice and help. You might want to polish up or just brush off those winter cobwebs so this will be a great opportunity to get going or you might have a young horse/pony or new rider that needs some practice before your first show. Terry can assist you achieve your goals and gain that all important confidence!

Terry will cover In Hand technique & presentation of your horse/pony including handler turnout. Get those invaluable hints & tips to improve that all important "overall picture" that judges see

Sessions will include group flatwork to get warmed up followed by individual work. The aim is to help you and your horse/pony get as much out of the session as possible.
Times: Timings are approximate & may be subject to change. Any changes will be advised after 16th March when entry has closed
Clothing
You can come dressed in your normal riding gear, but we suggest if you want advice on your show turnout please wear your ring attire.
Tack
Ride your horse/pony in tack that they are happy with, which can either be work tack or show tack. If you want advice on your show tack it might be a good idea to use it.
Entry fees are non-refundable unless your place can be re-sold. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can't attend
